Social Media Marketing Specialist
About the Role:
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our brand’s presence across digital platforms. This role requires a strong eye for design, an understanding of marketing strategy, and the ability to collaborate across teams to create high-impact content.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction of our social media content, ensuring that our messaging aligns with Homebuyer Wallet’s brand and business goals. You will work closely with the multimedia producer, content writer, and email marketer to maintain consistency and engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Direction & Content Development
- Conceptualize and direct the creation of high-quality social media content with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling.
- Develop design briefs for graphic designers to ensure posts align with the brand’s style, messaging, and goals.
- Maintain a cohesive and aesthetically strong brand identity across all social media platforms.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan and schedule organic and paid content to align with marketing objectives.
- Conduct hashtag research, audience targeting, and performance tracking to optimize engagement.
- Stay on top of trends, competitor strategies, and algorithm changes to keep content relevant and effective.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the email marketing team to align social campaigns with newsletters and promotions.
- Partner with content writers to strategize and schedule blog posts that drive engagement and traffic.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency across all marketing efforts.
Community Management & Engagement
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong community across platforms.
- Monitor brand sentiment and proactively address feedback to maintain a positive brand presence.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Analyze key performance metrics and provide data-driven insights for optimizing social media strategies.
- Run A/B tests on paid and organic content to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Support special projects, collaborations, and brand initiatives as needed.
- Assist with crisis communication or urgent content updates when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong eye for design and the ability to provide clear creative direction to designers and video editors.
- Proven experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing (real estate, finance, or lifestyle brand experience is a plus!).
- Ability to write compelling captions, guide creative teams, and ensure brand consistency.
- Proficiency in content planning tools, analytics platforms, and paid ad management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns at once.
- Open to ad hoc tasks and flexible collaboration with different departments.
- Understanding of SEO, blog strategy, and email marketing alignment is a plus.
