Job Description:
The IT Project Coordinator plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and supporting IT projects to ensure smooth execution and successful delivery. Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of IT projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, and tasks.
- Work closely with project managers to track project progress and ensure milestones are met.
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain project documentation, such as budgets, schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
- Handle administrative tasks, including invoice management, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet) to track project progress and generate reports.
3. Resource Allocation & Team Support:
- Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure availability at the right time.
- Assign tasks to team members and assist them in understanding project milestones and deliverables.
4. Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between project clients and the technical team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct meetings with clients to assess their needs, define project requirements, and establish timelines.
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, facilitate discussions, and generate progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative support or project coordination, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with clients and technicians at all levels.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges efficiently.
- Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet) is an advantage.
- A positive, can-do attitude that fosters a productive and results-driven work environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure to provide basic technical support and assist in defining the technical scope of work for projects.
