Role Description
Full-time remote (from home) International Buyer position at Sigma Energy . The Buyer will be responsible for identifying suppliers, sourcing quotes, negotiating best offers, handling orders , international logistics, including delivery to clients in a timely and cost-effective manner. The buyer will also prepare sale offers to clients and participate in tender offers preparation.
Working hours: Monday to Friday during North America working hours which means night time in Philippines
Qualifications
Be able to work remotely from home everyday (monday to friday) during night time to match North America working hours.
High Pressure Threshold: Able to perform in rush periods and under pressure.
Purchasing Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing industrial equipment and parts. internationally.
Organizational Skills: The Buyer should be organized and able to manage multiple tasks, while dealing with a high volume of work and competing demands.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical Skills: The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make informed decisions.
Technical knowledge: Knowledge of oilfield or industrial equipment and parts is preferable.
Bachelor’s degree: The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree (3 years) in business administration, supply chain, or engineering.
Experience: The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
Languages: Fluent in English is required.
