We are seeking an exceptionally analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of customer rate plans by scrutinizing their invoices. Your objective is to ensure alignment with current pricing and promotions while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
As a Pricing and Billing Analyst, you will be at the forefront of pricing strategies, aiming to drive profitability and enhance overall sales performance and customer experience. This dynamic position demands a unique blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and a profound understanding of pricing and customer options in the mobility space. Your contribution will be vital in optimizing customer rate plans, guaranteeing they receive the best services at the best price, thereby ensuring Orkestra's sales profitability while meeting customer expectations and needs.

What you'll do:
1. Strategic Rate Plan Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analyses of current rate plans from various vendors, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization to benefit customers.
- Stay informed on market trends, including the latest tech releases like iPhones, tablets, and smartwatches, as well as competitor pricing and customer preferences, and propose strategic rate plan adjustments based on these insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managers to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with overall business objectives at Orkestra, specifically in the mobility space.
2. Data Mastery
- Proficiently collect, organize, and analyze extensive datasets to extract actionable insights. Utilize these insights for data-centric recommendations, providing valuable support to sales teams when proposing solutions to customers.
- Continuously monitor and assess competitor pricing strategies, identifying both opportunities and challenges. Use this information to inform proactive pricing adjustments, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
3. Recommendations and Reporting Excellence
- Deliver compelling and strategic recommendations to Sales Managers and Mobility Support Teams. Support your recommendations with in-depth rate plan analysis and thorough research on vendor pricing and services.
- Generate insightful proposals, outlining key pricing and improvements related to rate plans. Ensure the proposals provide valuable insights for informed decision-making and strategy refinement between sales teams and customers.
- Attend meetings and review recommendations to ensure all team members are aligned and fully understand the proposed solutions.
4. Statistical Analysis & Marketing
- Expertly use advanced Excel functions and formulas to research, analyze, and manage complex data.
- Generate reports and marketing materials to support decision-making by clearly interpreting data and potential outcomes.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis tools and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, SQL, CRM).
- Ability to use Excel functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and formulas to analyze and manage pricing and billing data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and interpret numbers, data, and pricing concisely.
- Detail-oriented mindset, capable of thriving both independently and collaboratively.
- Amenable to work on hybrid setup and during U.S. working hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the telecommunications or utilities industry.
- Familiarity with advanced pricing strategies and an in-depth understanding of the mobility space.
- Demonstrated experience in billing analysis & resolution, financial or price breakdown, or a similar analytical capacity.
