The Application Operations department within our IT group is in charge of application/platform support, application/platform maintenance, application observability and service management, as well as technical contingency planning.

As a Change Manager, you will be responsible for executing the Change Management process while enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimal disruption to the Bank’s operations. Part of your role will entail the coordination and leading of meetings with the Production Readiness Review Panel to discuss planned changes, ensuring that all activities designed to implement the change are as per standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the change management queue and review that changes are made efficiently, with minimum risk to the Bank's operations
  • Prioritize the acceptance or rejection of change requests according to business objectives
  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify risk mitigation tactics
  • Facilitate the review of Normal and Exception change requests
  • Ensure changes are executed upon approval and tickets or documentation are updated after successful completion
  • Communicate all change related activities to stakeholders, including change schedules
  • Maintain all change documentation (policies, procedures, template, etc.)
  • Create periodic reports about change management, release management and discuss with IT leaderships
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change process.

Competencies:

  • Industry Knowledge: Must have functional knowledge in finance services, specifically in banking
  • Operational Knowledge: Familiar in various operating systems, IT technologies, networking, and office productivity tools
  • Change Management: Solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written and ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with external and internal customers, senior management, and can collaborate effectively with and through others.
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach, flexible, and adaptable specially in ambiguous situations

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course.
  • Preferably with at least 7-10 years of work experience in IT
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a change management or release management practitioner
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading change activities including risk and readiness assessments, change impact analysis and deployment planning.
  • Must be ITIL certified or any equivalent
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Ortigas or Makati
