Job Summary

  • Responsible for managing, and administering retail trust and investment management accounts in accordance with the guidelines set by the client, internal policies, and regulatory restrictions.

How will you contribute?

  • Manages and administers a specific set of assigned retail trust and investment management accounts in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Supervises and oversees the management of retail trust accounts by Assistant Portfolio Managers assigned to the same team or unit.
  • Discusses investment strategies with clients and oversees its proper implementation. Coordinates with the Business Risk and Compliance Division (BRCD) to ensure completion of documentation necessary to effect the investment strategies.
  • Monitors and administers all assigned accounts. Analyzes up-to-date data in financial and capital markets to properly advise clients in decision-making.
  • Monitors compliance with the client’s prescribed guidelines, internal policies and regulatory restrictions.
  • Ensures compliance with the Basic Standards of Trust as prescribed by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in the performance of portfolio management functions.
  • Keeps abreast with updates on the Bank and BSP policies as stipulated in the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MLPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs and adheres to said policies and ensures strict implementation and consistent compliance thereto across the department, including but not limited to periodic updating of client information, timely disposition of AML alerts, transactions monitoring and reporting, conduct of enhanced due diligence, handling of suspicious transactions and proper escalation thereof, if warranted.
  • Enhances customer relationship by servicing clients’ non-investment related transactions, communicating regularly with RCBC Wealth Relationship Managers (WRM) on the status of their referred accounts; Providing RCBC WRM with regular updates on market developments and regulations affecting their referred account; Responding to client inquiries through coordination with RCBC WRM; and Reporting critical problems to the President and CEO.
  • Primarily in charge of the performance of Accounts Review function for assigned accounts and ensures the appropriate disposition of findings of the Accounts Review Officer.

What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Industrial Management Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of various investment markets and products (i.e. money market, equities, bonds, deposits, foreign exchange, derivatives)
  • Three (3) years industry experience in Account Management
