The Linen and Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hospital. He/She is responsible for the complete upkeep and cleanliness of all linen rooms.
He/She will work in hand with our laundry service provider to maintain work quality and monitor inventory of both soiled & and washed items. The position also works closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors in a timely and efficient manner.

He/She will work in hand with our laundry service provider to maintain work quality and monitor inventory of both soiled & and washed items. The position also works closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties
- Manage overall daily inventory of all linen rooms. Receive, record, and sort clean linen from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.
- Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes, rejecting any exceptions. Ensure that all linen is properly stored and recorded whether issued, for repair, or for discard.
- Ensure linen inventory and laundry schedule are ordered and controlled in line with hospital operations. Keeps linen for all different departments sorted & separate.
- Distribute clean linens and textiles to patients and hospital staff.
- Ensure all linen rooms are always clean and tidy and report to the management if any items have been damaged.
- Organize linen carts to designated areas. Oversee getting filled linen carts to the laundry pickup area and return them accordingly.
- Report to Facilities Manager in case any linen need to be discarded or replenished.
- Assists in standardizing the method in which laundry tasks will be performed.
- Manage issues/recommendations by Medical Department quickly and effectively. Makes recommendations to the Facilities Manager / Operations Director as necessary.
- Assist in housekeeping responsibilities associated with keeping the facility clean, sterile, and orderly. Function as Reliever for Housekeeping Staff if needed.
- Attend and participate in office devotionals, seminars, in-service education classes, on-the-job training programs, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned to further the mission of CURE Philippines, Inc.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in line with Safecare requirements.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment by strictly adhering to infection prevention and control protocols such as but not limited to handwashing, wearing of PPE, etc.
- Commit to sustainable and eco-friendly work practices by minimizing waste, optimizing resource usage and actively participating in initiatives that promote environmental stewardship.
- Minimum Education Required: At least a High School Graduate or Any Vocational Course
- License/Certification Require; if any: TESDA NCII Certification
- Minimum Years of Experience: Applicant with at least one (1) year of extensive laundry work experience or has demonstrated dependability and longevity in a previous job is preferred
- Strong communication skills, especially with those of different cultures.
- Good ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- High ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Adept at working well independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly dedicated and hardworking. Willing to work extra hours if needed.
- With an exceptional work ethic and strong attention to laundry hygiene and safety.
- Skilled multitasker able to handle a high volume of laundry area maintenance tasks with speed and accuracy.
