Job Description

  • Review reports & presents: Trend Reports, Product info, Product Research, Inventory reports, sell- through reports, and Approved Samples & Prototype.
  • Review and approves the list of items and images included in catalogs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet sales revenue and profitability targets of the category.
  • Research and track the latest fashion and market trends and collaborate with the designers on the creation of the Trend Report.
  • Relay the DJO with the designers based on the approved product direction and trend.
  • Review and approve concepts and product designs before presentation and final approval.
  • Check and confirm samples before production.
  • Review and prepare merchandise line sheet, collection and mix.
  • Negotiate cost with the suppliers and compute the pricing for recommendation and approval.
  • Review and study forecasts and allocation.
  • Review and finalize purchase orders, costing, shipment schedules, terms of suppliers before final approval.
  • Review and check Merchandise Payment Request and align with the approved budget before the final approval.
  • Coordinate with the production team and suppliers to ensure that quality issues and delay in deliveries were compensated.
  • Recommend promotional activities and markdowns
  • Review and approve graphics and collaterals from Marketing Dept.
  • Conduct store and online platforms visit and send feedback with the concern channel.
  • Analyze sales and inventory data and prepare and present business review of the category.
  • Monitor and ensure that the inventories are properly manage and will meet the target sell-through of each product line.

Job Qualifications

  • Any 4-year course related to Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Economics, etc.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in merchandising and people management.
