Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile Admin and Estimator to join our offshore team in the Philippines. This role combines administrative expertise with estimation skills to support the client’s project management and operational needs. You will collaborate with the onshore team to ensure the accurate preparation of project estimates, manage administrative tasks, customer support, and streamline workflows for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Manage and organise company documents, emails, and schedules.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in company systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate team calendars, and handle correspondence.
  • Support general office tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Client follow-ups and support.

Estimation Tasks

  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and related documents to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the onshore team to gather required data and clarify project scopes.
  • Conduct market research to gather pricing for materials and subcontractor quotes.
  • Maintain an organised database of estimates, pricing, and supplier information.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (administrative and/or estimator in Australia).
  • Familiarity with project estimation tools, spreadsheets, and administrative software.
  • Experience working with Australian or international companies is mandatory.

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with estimation software or tools is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.

Other:

  • Ability to work independently while being a proactive remote team member.
