Job Summary:

The Fashion Writer must ensure consistent refresh rate of the website by creating and managing relevant content in different multimedia formats such as (but not limited to) short and long-form articles, art card text, photo and video captions for the website and social media properties. Writing speed is also essential.

He/ She/ They will also monitor reliable sources of information (official company releases, details from event coverage, legitimate social media channels). The Fashion Writer is also expected to collaborate with other Summit Media brands, whenever possible.

  • Writes a clear, effective copy that fits the voice of the brand
  • Can edit submissions from contributors, writers to ensure site is publishing clean copies
  • Interviewing skills - whether online or onsite
  • Social media savvy
  • Actively pitch story ideas; assist the publication management in crafting daily or calendered story agenda
  • Team player: Able to work with a team with varying backgrounds
