Management Report
- Collates and updates Management Report data (budget, target, last year, last month) for assigned SBU accounts for various business segments
- Generates, validates and analyzes Trial Balances for abnormal and unusual balances and coordinates with affected functions for corrections and adjustment
- Analyzes, reconciles and validates consolidated reports for various business segments and/or profit/cost centers
- Prepares, finalizes and submits monthly consolidated reports for various business segments and/or profit/cost centers to Financial Reporting Manager
- Reviews, validates, analyses and reports balances between TB and MR, evaluates and identifies variances to ensure correctness of adjustments and reclassifications
- Summarizes significant or unusual transactions, validates analytics, entries and events as basis of Finance Heads in explaining and understanding of actual numbers in the MR
- Answers to queries and ensures accuracy of financial data, reviews and evaluates inputs from various functions and finalizes management report for assigned business segment
- Collaborates with other functional team (AR, Real estate team, within or outside JWS, vendor for loyalty program etc.) for a more detailed and elaborate reporting analysis of accounts/transactions
- Prepares and reviews schedules for Statutory reporting
- Prepares and submits required notes to Financial Statement for statutory submission (Local State for Federal reporting)
- Coordinates with External Auditors for any reports, schedules, requirements for both year end and interim audits
- Answers to queries and ensures accuracy of financial data, reviews,
- Evaluates and monitors inputs form various functions and leads closure of management letter items raised by auditors in the assigned area
- Analyzes balance sheet GL accounts and assesses correctness, accuracy, validity and reasonableness of recorded transactions
- Reviews and updates assigned BS accounts and drives improvement of processes/policies to achieve accuracy of the account
- Prepares monthly Bank reconciliation and ensures that all outstanding items are resolved and escalated to appropriate function. (i.e. Treasury, Payroll, AP etc.)
- Prepares, validates and analysis various entries for accruals and adjustments as necessary
- Monitors all BS accounts for assigned legal entity, proposes financial adjustments to SBU Finance/ Comptrollership for clean-up, write on/off for various accounts
- Directly responsible for managing common accounts assignment and all accounts within the assigned business segment
- Coordinates with various functions, participates in discussions, planning, execution of strategic solutions for improvement of quality reporting
- Prepares, analyzes, reviews, consolidates and finalizes reports for submission to Functional Manager and Service Leaders
- Lead complex reporting requirements that may be assigned from time to time
- Responds to audit findings and drives quality resolution and closure
- Prepares, consolidates, validates and submits documents, schedules, reports, and data as requested by auditor
- Leads audit activities for both interim and year end
- Prepares and consolidates monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) results and discusses with Financial Reporting Manager
- Reviews and evaluates quality resolutions of account and report assignments and inputs from other functions and proposes corrective actions to resolve issues
- Ensures compliance with policies and statutory regulations, stay abreast of regulatory and professional guidelines and developments affecting areas of responsibility
- Participates and initiates activities to achieve service quality delivery of reporting requirements
- Participates in team huddles & meetings, for multi-functional activities related to reporting and balance sheet account management
- Identifies & recommends opportunities or solution within function to improve delivery of SLA
