MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER

Job Overview

The Machine Learning Engineer plays a critical role in advancing the technological capabilities of the IT/BPO company, focusing on leveraging machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive business solutions and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Machine Learning Model Development:
• Design and build machine learning systems to address complex problems.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms.
• Apply machine learning, neural networks, and other computational techniques to extract insights from large datasets.
• Data Analysis and Processing:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret raw data from various sources.
• Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Algorithm Implementation and Testing:
• Implement new or enhanced software algorithms to improve operational efficiency.
• Test and deploy models and algorithms.
• Validate model and algorithm effectiveness through testing and performance monitoring.
• Research and Innovation:
• Stay abreast of developments in machine learning and AI.
• Conduct ongoing research to improve existing machine learning models and explore new methods and techniques.
• Participate in professional conferences and workshops.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand company needs and devise possible solutions.
• Communicate complex machine learning concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and present results to management and other teams.
• Project Management:
• Lead machine learning project planning and execution.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Act as a liaison between the technical and business units of the company.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (like Keras or TensorFlow) and libraries (like scikit-learn).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and machine learning deployment pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• At least a year of experience in a similar role
• High-level client presentation skills
• Exceptional customer-facing skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills
