  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description: The role will be heading the Legal team, ensuring that all legal and regulatory obligations are met -- from corporate legal matters, data privacy, compliance, to third-party recovery claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the legal team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure efficient and effective legal operations within the company.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of corporate legal matters.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data privacy and compliance programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company’s operations. Provide guidance to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the company's handling of third-party recovery claims. This includes evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and representing the company in litigation as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed lawyer
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in corporate law, with a focus on insurance-related matters
  • Proven experience in a management position, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices is an advantage
  • In-depth understanding of data privacy laws and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
