This role is pivotal in driving customer retention, gaining customer feedback, supporting our safer gambling culture, and increasing customer satisfaction while managing risk and fostering a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for the balanced delivery of key metrics across sales, service, risk, and people, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds business goals.

What you'll be doing
- Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring that all outbound interactions are rooted in delivering exceptional service and understanding customer behaviour.
- Utilise customer feedback to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, e.g. Customer Experience squads to enhance the customer experience, adapting strategies to meet evolving customer needs.
- Establish quality standards for customer interactions and oversee compliance with service guidelines.
- Lead change and transformation initiatives across your department, role modelling what good looks like.
- Ensure colleagues are equipped to identify potential markers of harm and take appropriate action to support and protect our customers.
- Uphold the organization’s standards for compliance and risk, ensuring that all activities are conducted within regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks within processes, regularly reviewing procedures to maintain a risk-averse environment.
- Work closely with the Compliance and Quality Assurance teams to ensure best practices are followed consistently.
- Develop and execute tactics and strategies to achieve customer retention, player engagement and revenue objectives.
- Monitor team performance against sales goals, implementing initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and provide actionable insights to boost productivity and effectiveness.
- Ensure each team member is equipped with the tools, skills, and motivation needed to succeed.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing customer success team, supporting their professional growth and individual development.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to cultivate skills and align with team and organisational goals.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
- Drive employee engagement and retention, building a motivated and resilient team that is ready to meet business objectives.

- Sales Performance: Achieving revenue and growth targets, continuously innovating to improve sales tactics.
- Service Quality: Ensuring customer interactions reflect the organization’s values and service standards.
- Risk and Compliance: Proactively managing risk and promoting a culture of compliance and adherence to our regulatory requirements.
- People Development: Cultivating a supportive environment that promotes skill development, team cohesion, and job satisfaction.
- Proven experience in sales, customer success and customer exprience management, ideally with experience leading a team in an outbound call center or sales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, analytics, and performance management.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
- A proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) would be beneficial.
