The Role

Inbound Sales
- Respond to incoming leads via email, website inquiries, and other channels.
- Qualify inbound leads based on predefined criteria before passing them to the sales team.
- Maintain prompt follow-ups to nurture prospects and move them through the sales funnel.
- Conduct proactive outreach via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new leads.
- Identify and target key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
- Develop tailored messaging to engage prospects and secure discovery calls.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records in the CRM system.
- Track outreach activity and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Work closely with the sales manager to improve lead conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and key market movements.
- Identify potential new markets or customer segments.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams regarding customer pain points and needs.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies.
- Provide weekly reports on outreach efforts, lead generation, and conversion rates.
- Contribute to sales strategies to enhance the effectiveness of inbound and outbound initiatives.
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a similar role.
- Background in B2B SaaS, eCommerce, logistics, or supply chain technology.
- Proven experience with lead generation, outbound prospecting, and cold calling.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools and lead management processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales data and improve outreach strategies.
- Experience in handling objections and qualifying leads for software solutions is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Number of Outbound Calls & Emails Sent – Track daily/weekly outreach attempts.
- Lead Qualification Rate – Percentage of leads successfully passed to the sales team.
- Response & Follow-up Time – Time taken to engage inbound leads.
- Meetings Booked – Number of discovery meetings scheduled for the sales team.
- Lead-to-Opportunity Conversion Rate – Success rate of moving leads further into the sales funnel.
- CRM Data Accuracy – Ensuring all lead interactions and statuses are well-documented.
