Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the main responsibilities include:

• Manage daily costing - approve new material costing or re-costing & calculate landed cost & do some cost comparison or advise for the cost change
• Perform yearly costing exercise (cost change every year
• Manage customer's daily pricing
• Manage inventory write off & stock adjustment
• Assist in preparing new manufacturing cost statements and renewal requests
• Perform quarter parts cycle count and yearly stock take exercise
• Analyze and handle posting for inventory provision
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries, leveraging the Blackline System
• Participate in month-end closing processes and assist in preparing quarterly Interco Stock Elimination and inventory-related reporting
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and income tax schedules
• Perform and participate in other ad hoc tasks assigned

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA or the equivalent, with at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
• Advanced skills in Excel, and proficiency in other Microsoft Word and PowerPoint would be essential.
• Experience with SAP is preferred
