GPC Philippines Corporation is currently seeking a Staff Accountant. This position will work from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM PHT and applies only to Philippine-based legal residents and citizens. Work time will shift to better hours over time.
Job Description
The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations across multiple entities in a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment. Key responsibilities include handling AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and cash application; preparing consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP/ASC standards; and supporting the integration of newly acquired companies. This role also involves cash flow tracking, treasury support, audit and tax compliance, and leveraging technology platforms like Sage Intacct and Service Titan to optimize processes. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of GAAP, and expertise in multi-entity financial reporting. CPA certification (or progress toward certification) is preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a proactive mindset, are essential for success in this fast-paced, growth-oriented role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and cash application in compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements across multiple entities in adherence to GAAP/ASC standards.
- Support financial onboarding and integration of newly acquired companies, standardizing processes and ensuring alignment with platforms.
- Track and forecast cash flow, assist in treasury management, and monitor lending covenants.
- Assist in audit preparation and tax filings, ensuring compliance with sales/use tax and other relevant regulations.
- Leverage technology platforms such as Sage Intacct, Service Titan, and Ramp to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with the companys strategic goals.
- Contribute to process documentation and system improvements for enhanced reporting and data flow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward certification is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on acquisitions, rollups, or multi-entity financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/ASC standards and experience with lease accounting, sales/use tax, and audits.
- Proficiency with accounting systems like Sage Intacct, Service Titan, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
