  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a talented and experienced platform lead to join our dynamic team! As a platform lead, you will be responsible for –

Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural guidance and ensure adherence to best practices in software development
  • Raise and/or solve complex technical issues when they arise, offering strategic solutions
  • Lead projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes
  • Work closely with a team of artists, designers, and other engineers to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Facilitate and encourage effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
  • Promote continuous learning to improve individual and team skills
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and integrate relevant advancements into the team’s workflow

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years of professional work experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role
  • Extensive experience building scalable backend solutions and integrating with 3rd party systems
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable, highly available and fault tolerant infrastructures in AWS or similar environments
  • Experience in mentoring a team of engineers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience building customer-facing applications & backends
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Proficiency in both desktop and mobile web development
  • Deep understanding of web application performance and security best practices
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP & Laravel

Bonus:

  • Experience with PlayFab
  • Experience with Vue and/or React
  • Knowledge of other programming languages
  • Experience with native mobile development for both Android and iOS platforms
