About the Role
You will be delivering complex solutions which can include but are not limited to:
Safety and Business Continuity
- Safety Management: Develop and implement a tailored OSH program. This should include policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Emergency Preparedness and Response: Regular training sessions on emergency preparedness and response, such as fire drills and first aid training, should be conducted. These are typically held at least once a year.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training to educate employees on business continuity and. safety programs for employees. Initiate communications/program/activities that promote a culture of safety and encourage proactive safety behavior.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Business Continuity Planning: Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Crisis Management: Lead crisis management efforts during incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective response and recovery.
- Testing & Exercises: Plan and execute regular drills or simulations to test the effectiveness of continuity and emergency plans.
- Compliance & Reporting: Conduct regular internal safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with PwC network, building and government regulations.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine causes and preventive measures. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of safety-related incident
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, IT, facilities, and other stakeholders to integrate continuity planning into all aspects of the business.
Facilities Risk Management
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Facilities and Equipment Management: Ensure all facilities and equipment are in good working condition, arranging for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Vendor Management: Select, manage, and evaluate external contractors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and other facility services.
- Insurance Management: Work with insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage for various risks and manage claims when necessary.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to risk management activities and report to leaders on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
About You
We are expecting you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in safety management and/or business continuity planning.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Interested candidate must be willing to report to office based in Makati City.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Knowledge of ISO 22301 or other relevant business continuity standards.
- Experience with incident management and emergency response coordination
