  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Cavalry is growing our Civil design team and looking for a Civil Designer to join the team in Cebu.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Civil Designer with extensive experience using Autodesk Civil3D. The position will be based in Cebu with flexibility to work from home or from the soon to be opened local office. This is your opportunity to join a progressive organisation, and work with a team of professional designers who are passionate about what they do and seeing their work become reality through collaboration with Engineering Services and stakeholders.

As an Autodesk Civil3D Designer/Developer, you will be responsible for helping to set-up Autodesk Civil3D software and to support the automation of repetitive engineering tasks. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge and experience developing automation using Dynamo to create design automation.

Successful candidate will have experience working in Autodesk Civil3D and experience with the development of catalogue components and the creation of business rules/ application of design standards to layouts and designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare 2D/3D civil engineering designs with a strong focus on earthworks and road design for mining and energy infrastructure;
  • Liaise with engineers to establish design requirements whilst combining the relevant information in a design model for review;
  • GIS and data management that will inform models and drawings; and
  • Publishing of output drawings and models into Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) or Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification relevant to the duties of the position and substantial work experience relevant to the position; and
  • Strong design skills and practical use of Civil3D and AutoCAD software.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D software;
  • Experience in design and development of civil infrastructure projects including Strong design skills and practical use of software like 12D, Civil3D, and AutoCAD;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
