As Data Operations Engineer, you will have the opportunity to manage the infrastructure used to support data operations, including servers, databases, and cloud services of Pressure Management. You will also manage data pipelines and data integration that takes raw data through a series of processing and transformation steps, produce output in the form of dashboards, predictions, data warehouses and other business tools.

For this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Engineering, or related courses.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in the IT software development field (tools and process automation).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

In this role, you will:

  • Define database design, data flows and data integration techniques. Design and build data solutions ensuring data quality, reliability, availability and data governance.
  • Provide technical expertise, risk analysis, business and technical assessment of change requests in relation to data platforms. Implement and document approved change requests.
  • Manage data pipelines, data integration and the infrastructure used to support data operations, including servers, databases, and cloud services.
  • Ensure that data is processed and stored efficiently, and monitors data quality ensuring that data meets relevant standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data operations.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, Data Engineer, Datawarehouse and other stakeholders to ensure that data is being used effectively to drive business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent on issues and decisions on services.
  • Automate data processes, including ingestion, transformation, and storage, using SQL, Python, Azure Synapse and relevant technologies.
  • Create ETL designs and works with different data sources i.e., Oracle, JDE, Share point, Excel, SAP, and other files.
