The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence and reach of the company’s product portfolio and its distribution channels. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, developing relationships with key stakeholders across industries, and leading initiatives to enhance the company's competitive position in the market.

  • Identifies new local and foreign business opportunities in different market industries for product sourcing and distribution channels
  • Forges strategic partnerships and develops relationships with local and foreign manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, industry leaders, and/or other key stakeholders that can expand the product’s market footprint
  • Develops and proposes strategies to increase revenue, market share, and product adoption, as aligned with Product and Sales teams
  • Leads negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers on pricing, contract terms, and other agreements to optimize margins and strengthen the company's position in the market

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, or any related field (Post-graduate is a plus)
  • At least 5 years of supervisory/managerial role experience in Business Development, Product Management, Distribution/B2B, Sales, Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, or Channel and Retail Management— preferably within tech accessories, consumer electronics, smart automation products, IT, or FMCG industries handling high profile customers and product categories
  • Knowledge of telecommunication, consumer electronics, interior designer, contractor dealer/retailer/firm profiles is a plus
  • Knowledge of foreign OEM suppliers and manufacturers is a plus
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful B2B sales strategies and partnerships
  • Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on achieving results
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), iWork, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Powerpoint)
