The engineering manager will oversee and manage maintenance and service for all facility infrastructure to include: critical/non-critical electrical systems. Manage hard services to include HVAC- boilers, air handlers, chillers and all related systems. Maintain facility support systems to include emergency power generators and electrical switchgear. Manage building automation control systems as well as security systems. Develop and manage preventive maintenance contracts for all equipment and systems. Oversee building/grounds maintenance & repair. Ensure that all services are provided on schedule, cost-effectively within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that all facility equipment and systems are maintained and that preventive maintenance contracts are negotiated and in place. This includes HVAC system, boilers/chillers, air handlers, utilities, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems.
  • Oversee project management and makes decisions for all building systems and related designs/repairs.
  • Possess knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, building control/monitoring systems. Manage and makes decisions on repairs/service of all fire, life safety systems- wet/dry systems.
  • Develop and implement programs to maintain quality equipment and conditions to include repair/replacement.
  • Maintain regular communication and coordination with security operations. Handles 911 responses, and AED & ERC program. Manages incident reports and makes decisions on proper resolution and follow-up
  • Maintains facility policies and procedures, sending out updates as required. Assists with identifying, documenting and maintaining of operational procedures. Keeps emergency manuals up to date.
  • Establish a professional rapport and relationship with all contractors/suppliers, soliciting regular feedback from clients to insure quality services are provided timely and within the scope of work agreed to.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate or Technical degree required
  • 5+ years’ experience in Facilities Engineering
  • Knowledge of Philippines building codes
  • Extensive knowledge of Facilities Compliance issues and their support, MEP operations and building technologies required
  • Fiscal management experience specifically in Facilities Management
  • Strong managerial background
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of corporate operational policies, procedures, and systems
  • Ability to speak fluent English
