The Philippines PPM Assistant Manager is responsible for overall Planning and Performance Management of AB-InBev’s Philippines sales business. The role is critical to AB-InBev’s commercial operation, working across functions and closely with senior management.

A. Performance Management: Manages routine business cycle (daily, weekly, monthly performance reviews) and drive sales performance for AB InBev PH. Responsible for driving visibility and tracking in commercial areas such as volume, net revenue, contract performance, discount and profit to ensure target delivery. Lead analysis and presentations and coordinate with cross function stakeholders and senior management.

B. Sales Planning: Leads the annual and routine budgeting process for the Commercial Plans (1YP, 3YP, LE). Ensures the process and output are aligned to the corporate strategy and objectives.

JOB DESCRPTION

1/ Sales Planning – Ensure annual targets are met

  • Ensure the execution of the annual budget and LE processes by communicating and implementing the corporate guidelines.
  • Define and manages sales planning timelines and communications with all stakeholders (IT, marketing, supply, finance)
  • Propose and implement framework for analysis of results and development of action plans to close gap to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure resources, tools and necessary information are available to establish sales targets that will ensure corporate growth target and EBIT goals are met.
  • Develop systems and methodologies to facilitate PPM process – analytical methods, data management and reporting systems, business performance and planning systems.
  • Support external team through identification and communication of best practices.
  • Identify internal and external benchmarks for input to the development of KPI’s, contributing to establishing new opportunity gaps.

2/ Performance Management – Consistent analysis of results and development of Action Plans

  • Business Cycle: develop content for and leads monthly Sales Performance Review process with senior management to provide monthly measurement of performance against KPI’s with insightful and forward-looking analysis used to develop action plans, manage performance management calendar linking to BU, Zone, and Global requirements
  • Senior Management Presentations: Development of all analysis and presentations for senior leadership
  • Ensures availability and integrity of sales information provided to sales management by coordinating the development and improvement of sales information systems.

3/ Coaching/Leadership

  • Provide coaching and sharing to cross internal and external teams

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

1/ Education: degree in math, business, statistics, engineering or economics

2/ Experience

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in Business Information, Financial or Research Analysis.
  • Able to work under tight timelines
  • Ability to coach/manage others

3/ Technical competencies: (Job related)

  • Balance between detailed focus and ability to take long term perspective and set direction.
  • Strong business case development, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of industry and competition
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts into simple messages in both oral and written format
  • Knowledge of analytical tools
