As Paralegal, you will maintain, draft documents, organize legal files and matters that will enable the organization to fulfill the legal requirements for all departments.
Legal Document Management
- Assist the In-House Legal Counsel in the preparation of legal documents such as official communications, demand letters, contracts, legal opinions, and pleading, among others.
- Review and edit contracts, facilitate contract intake, and highlight risk and potential issues on contract requirements and recommend steps to reduce contract risks.
- Monitor and summarize contract term, period and implementation and coordinate with process owner in drafting low risk/medium risk vendor contracts.
Case Management
- Summarize cases and legal issues, and prepare written reports for the In-House Legal Counsel.
- Conduct research, investigating facts, attending administrative hearings and official meetings, and developing legal arguments on assigned legal problem.
- Prepare, file documents, and liaise with courts and administrative tribunals, and government agencies.
- Organize and archive documents related to completed and ongoing cases, as well as in furtherance of contract management system in place
Qualifications:
- Preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Political Science or equivalent
- Must have at least 2 years experience as Paralegal, or legal work specifically related to interpreting contract terms and conditions
- Must be adept in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Strong research and report-generating skills
