Summary

The HRBP for PH and TH acts as the trusted advisor and HR business partner to the respective Cluster/Country Business and Functional Leadership to define and deliver on the people agenda, which includes talent acquisition, development, organizational design & employee engagement initiatives, working closely with the global HR functional teams, to ensure the achievement of global and regional business objectives. The role also ensures efficient & professional delivery of HR services through partnering with regional/country management & functional leaders to develop, communicate and coordinate the successful implementation of prioritized company and/or global HR initiatives that support the business strategies of FMC in these markets.

The Role

  • Develop trusted relationships with business and functional leadership teams to proactively support business needs and drive the people agenda for the business.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand and evaluate the business agenda and define proactive human resources strategies to enable successful achievement of business results.
  • Partner with the relevant global HRBPs and AskHR team in APAC region to proactively & successfully deliver strategic and operational HR solutions and services for the respective client groups based in PH and TH.
  • Lead and drive HR processes/programs and action plans related to the implementation of global HR initiatives, and potential and new business or growth initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of changes for PH and TH, including but not limited to workforce planning, organizational design & development, re-organization etc.
  • Effectively delivers and manages HR processes related to talent management, performance management and leadership development for the respective countries based on global frameworks.
  • Analyze trends across each market to define action plans related to attraction, retention and development of key talents in line with the global talent management framework.
  • Research, develop, and implement new or updated HR offerings, policies and procedures by working closely with Head of HR APAC and global HR COEs, business and functional leaders and teams across PH and TH.
  • Leads and manages employee relations related matters to ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
  • Leads or participates in global or regional projects as assigned.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience in team environments that value excellence and drive high standards.
  • Robust working knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and business practices in Philippines and Thailand.
  • Strengths in compensation and benefits, talent management, business partnering and performance management. Some experience in organization design and change management would be advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; energized by change agenda.
  • Execution oriented with strong project management, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills balanced with strong emotional intelligence to align and integrate disparate programs, embracing a global approach while taking a practical yet creative approach towards local delivery.
  • Demonstrates confidence and courage to appropriately challenge assumptions, and ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism to push through on solutions while maintaining relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong learning orientation and work ethic – curious and continuous learner with a good say/do ratio and high integrity.
  • Versatile and aspires towards broader and higher impact roles.
  • Infrequent travel in the Philippines and Thailand may be required.
  • Preferably bilingual (English plus Filippino or Thai).
