What Are The Role And Responsibilities
Standards and Costings
- Develop and set-up DVLOH standards in collaboration with other stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial Finance, Global Innovations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and others) for all lines and category both URC Philippines and region (Asia and Oceania).
- Leads conduct of the annual SAB review and alignment for each category (Bakery, Confectionery, Noodles, Powdered Beverages, RTD Beverages, and Snacks and other) for URC Philippines and to be extended to the Region (Asia and Oceania) and uploading of standards in SAP.
- Develops, update and maintains Operation Data Base that serves quick reference guide for comparison of standards per category (Bakery, Confectionery, Noodles, Powdered Beverages, RTD Beverages, and Snacks and other), lines in SKUs both for URC Philippines and Regional (Asia and Oceania) facilities. This includes the breakdown standard cost per case, manning set-up for both regular and third party contractual, variable overheads, standard usages and water and standard capacity bottleneck equipment. This is also serves as database for equipment historical data both process and packaging.
- Ensures implementation of standards and metrics aligned to the URC standards Handbook or the Blue Book through the effective execution of validation and assessment to ensure compliance of all plants both URC Philippines and Regional (Asia and Oceania).
- Collaborates with the stakeholders to address the deviations in the process through the use of productivity tools and techniques like Value Stream Mapping (VSM) which is a lean management method for analyzing the current state and designing a future state of the series of sub-processes that will take a product from the start to end.
- Co-drives manufacturing performance improvement and implementation through the conduct of the pipeline of values prioritizing QuickWins, medium- and long-term strategies
- Provides support to corporate standards, Processes and Capacity Manager in co-developing guidelines for performance management execution processes.
- Develops or Co-develops standard module for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or DMIAC, Data Collection and Analysis (DCA), Measurement System Analysis and others which is used by the organization to identify opportunities in safety, quality and productivity. This also includes assessment of training effectiveness.
- Utilizes Sharepoint as repository for Knowledge Sharing, Best in Class, Successful Practices, and Benchmarking Processes.
- Conduct of comprehensive assessment of existing capacities and capabilities for the respective lines and categories to determine optimization opportunities.
- Conducts top level capacity reviews and studies in the respective categories to support organizational requirements and provides support to the requirements of other stakeholders like Engineering Services Department (ESD), Global Innovations, Commercial Finance, Marketing Supply Chain and other.
- Tracks and monitor approved budget and actual expenses of the Standard, Processes and Capacity team and of the Operational Governance and Sustainability.
- Must be graduate of any of the following courses: Business, Management, Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing and etc.) and allied technical or related courses
- With 3 – 5 years relevant experience in food manufacturing, preferably in the systems, processes or an operational function.
- Knowledgeable in Total Manufacturing operations and processes.
- Has basic knowledge of Standard Maintenance and Costing.
- Knowledge in different productivity tools and Techniques ( e.g. Value Stream Mapping/Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or DMAIC, Data Collection and Analysis (DCA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), productivity research and application
- Has basic knowledge in supply and demand, process and capacity analysis.
- With substantial experience in training, and capability building.
- Familiar with SAP manufacturing and business processes transactions
- Knowledge of the company policies, standards, requirements and quality systems elements.
