- HR Point of Contact: Serve as the primary HR liaison for the local team, ensuring effective communication between employees and management to foster transparency and alignment.
- Global & Local HR Alignment: Collaborate with both local management and the global HR team to align HR practices with Western business standards.
- Time & Attendance Management: Monitor time & attendance, addressing any discrepancies and escalating issues as needed to maintain accuracy and compliance, and managing leave requests to ensure smooth workflow.
- Policy Enforcement & Accountability: Ensure company policies are enforced and hold team members accountable, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and compliance.
- Performance Review Administration: Actively participate in the performance review process, including processing and administering evaluations to ensure timely and constructive feedback.
- Disciplinary & Grievance Management: Facilitate and manage disciplinary and grievance processes. Preparing and reviewing Notice-to-Explain (NTE) documents with management to address issues appropriately and consistently.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns promptly and professionally, working to resolve issues and maintain a positive work environment.
- HR System Integration: Support the transition and integration of EOR, payroll and HR systems, ensuring a seamless flow of data and clear communication across all departments.
- Recruitment Coordination: Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Onboarding & Training: Manage new hire pre-onboarding, induction, and training processes to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Exit & Offboarding: Oversee exit interviews and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for departing employees while gathering insights for continuous improvement.
- Employee Records & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies to minimize risks and promote fairness.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and report on HR metrics such as attrition rates, leave balances, and other key indicators to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
- Team Engagement & Activities: Organize team-building events, engagement activities, and other initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
- Ad Hoc Office Duties: Assist with general office tasks and support HR and management in any other duties as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
- Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR business partner role, preferably within a large-scale BPO or similar high-performance environment.
- Proven experience in handling both HR administrative tasks and office management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to enforce policies and hold staff accountable.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) to handle sensitive conversations across all levels of the organization.
- Good knowledge of Philippine labor laws and experience working within the Filipino work culture.
- Ability to adapt and work across different shifts in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A proactive and independent work style, along with the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in an IT, Software, SaaS, or tech-related company is an advantage.
