Responsibilities
- Masterfully manage bank reconciliations using Xero, ensuring pinpoint accuracy in financial records
- Conduct meticulous data entry for a wide range of financial transactions, maintaining the integrity of financial information
- Efficiently process and manage timesheets for a diverse workforce, ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations
- Take charge of accounts payable and receivable tasks, optimizing cash flow and vendor relationships
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Australia-based finance team, contributing to strategic financial planning and reporting
- Integrate accounting data with other business systems, enhancing overall operational efficiency
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing organization, taking on additional bookkeeping duties as required
- 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience, demonstrating a track record of accuracy and efficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software, with the ability to leverage its full capabilities
- Solid understanding of Australian tax systems and financial regulations, particularly as they relate to the disability services sector
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy
- Outstanding communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to non-finance team members
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, remote team environment
- Experience integrating accounting software with other business systems (e.g., Shiftcare) is highly advantageous
- Passion for contributing to a socially impactful organization and improving the lives of individuals with disabilities
