Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Estimator at Secure Height Systems in Sydney, Australia. The Estimator will be responsible for tasks related to estimating project costs, analyzing architectural plans, preparing estimates, communicating with vendors, and providing accurate pricing proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed tenders for Height Safety projects.
- Understanding height safety standards and systems and applying them in practice.
- Designing compliant and practical safe access systems.
- Submitting accurate and timely quotes, maintaining CRM and paperwork systems.
- Building technical knowledge and staying updated on industry standards.
- Ensuring cost accuracy and compliance in quotes.
- Managing quote opportunities, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with sales reps to refine and revise quotes to meet client needs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Tertiary degree or qualification in Architectural Engineering, Construction or related field.
- High English proficiency.
- Experience working with residential and commercial clients.
- AutoCAD or similar.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
