Woolworths Group (Australia and New Zealand’s largest retailer) launched Woolworths Market Plus (WMP) in October 2023. WMP is the coming together of three businesses (MyDeal, Bigw Market & Everyday Market).

WMP is a new platform for businesses to both sell and manage products across the Woolworths Group Marketplaces. A curated customer destination, bringing together a trusted ecosystem comprising three core banners: MyDeal, Everyday Market and BIG W Market. We have grown in the last year and now operate primarily across three hub locations: Manila, Melbourne & Sydney.

Looking for an experienced SEO Specialist that demonstrates superb creative skills to produce exciting resultse across a variety of digital channels - and can do it all with a smile on their face!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement SEO strategies.
  • Assist with technical SEO audits to improve website's search engine visibility.
  • Perform in depth data analysis of Google Analytics, Search Console, AHREFS and other analytic tools to develop and recommend SEO strategies.
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
  • Work with stakeholders on technical SEO requirements to achieve desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with the other marketing teams to align and integrate our strategies effectively.
  • Monitoring SEO performance
  • Collaborate & integrate with SEO agencies.
  • Develop and implement link-building campaigns.

Our Requirements

  • Flexible to the work setup - Remote or On site.
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience working in a similar role.
  • Proven performance in SEO; delivering technical, content and outreach strategies.
  • A good understanding of SEO best practices and latest updates, and value an evidence based approach over trends and hype
  • Advanced skills and sound knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends and Keyword Planner and other SEO tools such as Screaming frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, SimilarWeb etc.
  • A curious, analytical, data driven approach with a growth mindset and interest in continuous improvement, of skills, systems, processes
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills, the ability to consistently meet deadlines and work on multiple projects at one time.
  • The ability to manage stakeholders and desire to work collaboratively cross functional team.
  • Experience in either HTML, Python, Schemas, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Intermediary knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office packages.
  • Background or knowledge in any data management/analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc

Good To Have

  • Proficiency in speaking English as well as the local language.
  • Technical background for better understanding of the technical requirements.
