Responsibilities:
- Review and verify loan documentation, including credit reports, income documentation, tax returns, asset details, appraisal reports, title reports, insurance documents, fraud prevention products, and purchase contracts, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Support loan officers and underwriting teams by ensuring the timely, thorough, and precise processing of mortgage applications.
- Validate borrowers’ income, credit reports, employment histories, property appraisals, and title insurance information to prepare loan applications for submission to underwriting.
- Ensure all processes comply with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and applicable lending program requirements.
- Provide exceptional and efficient service that contributes to high customer satisfaction.
- Confirm all necessary files are complete and properly coordinated with title companies to facilitate smooth closings before handing off to underwriting.
Skills and Experience: To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- At least 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience at a local PH bank.
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong oral and written communication abilities.
Additional Notes:
- Willingness to work the graveyard shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Must provide own workstation and reliable internet connection.
Remote Work:
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
