Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy by delivering data-driven insights and analysis. This position will manage and improve the planning and forecasting processes, implement performance tracking systems, and ensure financial alignment with corporate goals. The FP&A Manager will also oversee resource allocation, lead cost optimization efforts, and guide the company in achieving sustainable financial growth while ensuring regulatory compliance in the credit bureau industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Lead the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Provide financial insights to the executive team for strategic decision-making.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance versus budget and prior periods, identifying variances and their root causes.
- Recommend actionable insights to improve profitability, optimize costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Business Decision Support:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate new business initiatives, market opportunities, and investments.
- Prepare financial models and business cases to support decision-making.
Regulatory and Industry Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements for credit bureaus.
- Support audits and regulatory reporting by providing accurate and timely financial data.
Process Improvement and Cost Management:
- Drive initiatives to improve financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes.
- Identify and execute cost improvement measures across the organization.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and develop the FP&A team to build their analytical, technical, and strategic capabilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.
Management Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Communicate financial performance results and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Risk Management:
- Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business goals.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory developments impacting the credit bureau sector.
Information Security Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) by safeguarding financial data, limiting access, and promptly addressing incidents.
Ad-Hoc Projects:
- Lead special projects as assigned by the CFCSO, including M&A financial evaluations, scenario planning, or operational transformations.
- Perform other functions related, analogous, and pertinent to the preceding enumeration as may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.
- Industry experience in financial services, banking, or credit bureaus is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (including macros, pivot tables) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
