  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Your Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks: Build and refine best practices for Cypress-based component and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise in Cypress test design, scripting, and maintenance with test engineers and developers.
  • Daily Testing Execution: Execute QA test cases for enterprise-level platforms handling multiple accounting solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with QA team members, developers, and product managers to identify test coverage areas, document defects, and ensure product quality.
  • Cross-Functional Contribution: Partner with other teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.
  • Quality Advocacy: Commit to identifying and addressing flaws to uphold product excellence.
  • Take on additional duties as needed to support business objectives.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • At least 2 years of experience in automated software QA/testing using Cypress.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or other agile practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team.

Preferred Skills/expertise
  • Proven expertise in Cypress automated testing and writing JavaScript for automated tests.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • A critical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly to evolving project needs.
