ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative, internally known as Account Processor I to support small business owners and a team of plan administrators with obtaining the information necessary to complete the annual testing requirements for 401(k) plans. A large part of this role is reviewing documents submitted by the clients and communicating with clients when more information is necessary. Collaborate with the plan administration and compliance teams to ensure annual 5500 filings are completed on time.

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with clients to obtain the necessary information to prepare annual reporting
  • Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy
  • Navigate large volumes of work with autonomy while also collaborating within your team and department to ensure an excellent client experience
  • Work with partner financial institutions/custodians to help facilitate client filings and retrieve client data
  • Send and receive documents via email with clients
  • Send outgoing emails to clients during the plan year reporting process
  • Be goal-driven and have the desire to exceed defined role expectations
  • Develop a basic understanding of retirement plans, specifically 401(k) plans
  • Contribute to department and team projects
  • Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field preferred
  • Solid customer service background
  • Experience in the financial sector is an advantage
  • Excellent grasp of all Microsoft 365 applications
  • Comfortable with using multiple computer programs and systems
  • Meticulous with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has a proactive approach to problem-solving and an incredibly high level of patience
  • Can demonstrate evidence of being a true team player
  • Possesses a positive attitude and is heavily motivated
  • Can provide real-life examples of successful client relationships
  • Proven reliability in the workplace and a strong desire to succeed
