Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST/CST/EST - Monday to Friday. (Night Shift in PH time)
Work Duration: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Description/Information:
The Manager of Client Finance will oversee the financial operations related to our clients and vendors. As part of the Operations Department within the UCBZeroWaste division, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial management of vendor payments, client invoicing, and accounts receivable. The primary focus of this position is to:
• Manage accounts payable by ensuring timely and accurate payments to waste, recycling, and equipment vendors.
• Manage accounts receivable by tracking payments from rebate-paying vendors and maintaining accurate records.
• Oversee client invoicing to ensure UCBZeroWaste properly charges clients for all vendor expenses paid on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all vendor invoices paid on behalf of UCBZeroWaste clients are accurately charged back through monthly consolidated invoices.
• Issue monthly consolidated invoices to clients before the last business day of each month.
• Categorize, identify, and reconcile all Divvy Card (UCBZeroWaste credit card) payments promptly.
• Ensure timely vendor payments to avoid late fees and maintain proper documentation in Accounts Payable (A/P) reports.
• Verify and document receipt of payments from rebate-paying vendors in Accounts Receivable (A/R) reports.
• Implement cross-checking processes to reconcile monthly consolidated invoices, vendor payments, and rebate receipts for accuracy and transparency.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience (5+years) in financial management, preferably in waste management or related industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including but not limited to ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement financial improvements while ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and preferably holds an MBA or CPA certification. Strong attention to detail, financial reconciliation experience, and the ability to streamline financial processes are essential for success in this role.
