The Physical Security Investigation Officer is p rimarily responsible for the investigation, reporting and record keeping of Physical Security Incidents with the objective to aid the Investigation Head in relaying the information to Chief Security Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises / conducts investigation of Physical Security Incidents and other referred cases in order to provide appropriate recommendations and submit them in a timely manner for the approval of the Chief Security Officer.
  • Prepares and presents the reports of detailed investigation findings in order to build up case to file with Law Enforcement Agencies and Court if needed.
  • Monitors and ensures that all reported incidents were assessed thoroughly, given appropriate recommendations, proper monitoring of pending reports and pending for approval in order to timely and efficiently implement the approved recommendations for compliance.
  • Supervises / coordinates with Law Enforcement Agency who conducts the external investigation of criminal cases of interest to the Bank in order to inform the involved Unit on the requirements of the external investigation, refer to Legal Department if needed.
  • Supervises / coordinates the conduct of background check / investigation of personalities as required in order to provide aid to UIU, DCG, Card Fraud, Customer Care and Legal Department on case build-up.
  • Reports to Head of Investigation any collected intelligence to the security of the Bank's operation in order to protect all Bank personnel and properties.
  • Develops and maintains database in order to build up case against person of interest undergoing investigation for the fraud and other bank crimes.
  • Ensures that all physical security incidents reportable in ORMS Archer database were monitored and updated. Follow up the Unit with reported incidents outside ORMS in order to utilize the incident reporting database for future reference and ensure all reported physical security incidents were handled for investigations.
  • Coordinates filing and regular follow up on filed cases, cyber and other crimes filed cases to law enforcement agencies referred by Customer Care and Legal Department in order to facilitate smooth processing and to be able to monitor the progress which reported regularly to Head of Investigation.
  • Conducts initial investigation on incident cases involving employees and refer the case to Unibank Investigation Unit (UIU) and Legal in order to document the incident for possible case build up.
  • Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Supervising Officer and the CSO.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree related to security investigation
  • 1 year of experience in security or intelligence
