  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a BIM Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering high-quality Building Information Models (BIM) for various engineering projects in compliance with client requirements. The BIM Specialist will work across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Plumbing, Sanitary, and Fire Protection (MEPFS) systems, ensuring efficient project delivery by resolving clashes, adhering to modeling standards, and performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) checks for all BIM models prior to submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models for various engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams across multiple disciplines to ensure all BIM models meet client specifications and project requirements.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution, ensuring all models are free of errors and conflicts.
  • Adhere to modeling standards and ensure compliance with industry best practices for all BIM-related work.
  • Conduct QA/QC for all BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality before submission.
  • Assist in the preparation of BIM-related documentation and reports for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior team members or other departments as needed.
  • Stay updated on BIM technologies and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness in modeling tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in BIM-related software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Plumbing, Sanitary, and Fire Protection (MEPFS) systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • BIM certification is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in BIM-related courses or training programs.
  • Familiarity with other BIM software and tools is a plus.
