JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Physicist is responsible for preparing treatment plans and dose calculations for patients undergoing radiation treatment following local and international standards.
He/She develops, implements, and performs comprehensive quality control program for the center, its equipment, among others. He/She supervises the activities of the Rad Techs in handling the radiopharmaceuticals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of BS in Physics, Therapeutic Radiological Physics, Biophysics, Medical Physics, Health Physics, Physical Sciences or Engineering
- At least 200 hours of classroom training in Radiation Physics, Radiation Dosimetry, Radiation Protection, and Radiation Biology.
- With units or graduate of Master of Science in Medical Physics
- Ongoing Residency Program or Self-Directed Program
- Clinical and technical experience in Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiology is an advantage.
