AML Analytics Manager

Job Summary

The position is responsible in building and implementing machine learning and predictive models to enhance the Bank’s Money Laundering (ML) and Terrorist Financing (TF) detection capabilities and proactively identifies new and emerging ML and TF risk.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements AML database / data marts for AML analytics in close coordination with IT
• Implements anomaly detection algorithms and machine learning models to design and validate new AML/CTF Alert Scenarios and parameters for new and emerging ML/TF typologies.
• Designs and builds predictive models that will periodically fine-tune existing Alert Scenarios to reduce false positives
• Designs, builds, and implements risk scoring models that is integrated into the AML Alert Generation System that will prioritize alerts that are highly likely to be true positives for investigation
• Contributes to the improvement of the bank’s AML Rating by ensuring that the required documents and information pertaining to the AML Analytics team are complete and made available during the course of regulatory examination (i.e. BSP) or conduct of audit by Internal Audit or external audit, if any.
• Assists the AMLD-Analytics Unit whenever necessary and wherever applicable skills are required on the analysis of high-profile cases triggered by Freeze Orders, AMLC Inquiries, and ML/TF) News.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or any related course.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in AI/Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics; Banking and/or AML related experience is a plus
• Oracle Advanced Analytics, SAS, Python, R programming, AZURE, or any related skills
• Must be willing to work on site and be assigned in Makati.
