Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist to draw up marketing activities as well as create/organize promotion activities to promote the hotel’s products, service, facilities and promotions.
- Assist to implement Dusit graphic standard in guest collaterals, sales collaterals and advertising execution to ensure that each items is in line with the Dusit graphic standard and is validated by the Corporate Office.
- Assist to support the sales department by developing the hotel sales tools including presentation file, corporate gift, multimedia tool etc. to ensure the most appropriate communication of the hotel, the product and the brand.
- Assist to develop and implement the collateral and promotional materials of the hotel’s F&B outlets as well as actively promote the hotel’s outlets into the market.
- Assist to manage E-Newsletter, Poster, Flyer, banner as wll as update TV screens in guest rooms and LCD screen in hotel public area
- Manage, develop the customer relationship program as well as the Dusit Gold program.
- Seek partnership and joint promotions with credit cards companies, magazines, airlines, websites, mobile networks and business association.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with business associates, sponsors and guests.
- Be the hotel representative in both internal and external functions and events.
- Conduct marketing survey for all F&B outlets throughout the year as planned and compile the report with marketing suggestion.
- Analyze/evaluate promotion and advertising as well as the marketing performance.
- Fully responsible for the hotel’s database including gathering more new potential, maintain the exiting as well as develop the database and the hotel’s email marketing.
- Be responsible for the Music in the hotel public area.
- Responsible for the marketing plan, promotion, website marketing taking into consideration of the following: –
- Local requirements, market needs, competition, trends, potential costs, availability of hotel products, merchandising and promotion
- Responsible for the marketing analysis in terms of Hotel rooms promotion, restaurant promotion and Hotel products promotion
- Establish and maintain the Hotel image through marketing.
- Support the other departments in better marketing information systems.
- Develop formal training plans and conducts on the products marketing training sessions to the staff if there are the need.
- Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
- Treat complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially.
- Treat customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity.
- Identify and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict or misunderstanding.
- Knowledge of current marketing developments/trend in area of expertise.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply marketing guidelines and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Skills in marketing and sales analysis, formulating marketing policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Knowledge of business practices and procedures.
- Attend to specific guests in terms of marketing as required.
- Interact with individuals outside the hotel included but no limited to, clients, supplier’s officials, competitors and other members of the local community, when required to do by Director of Marketing Communications.
- Continuous learning through own IDP.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dust Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
- Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Public Relation, Mass Communication or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Possess a quality to establish strong media and social connections.
- Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel
- Have good communication skills in written and spoken English
