PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the successful handling of social event leads, contracting and implementing under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director of Events.
- Ensures effective communication with clients and efficient coordination with key departments concerned.
- Oversees Events profitability through effective planning, selling and merchandising.
- To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
- Conducts site inspections and sales activities as required.
- Assists the organizers, referrals and recommendations for outside subcontractors.
- Keeps abreast of promotions throughout the hotel to help increase sales.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
- Reports to the Assistant Director of Events.
- Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.
- Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners and staff.
- Continuous learning through own IDP.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dusit Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
- Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5-star class environment
- Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel
- Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
