Executive Summary

Our client is a software startup specializing in compliance software for the cosmetics industry. As part of the onboarding process, we assist customers by uploading their data into their profiles. To support this, we are seeking data entry candidates with a basic understanding of chemistry.

Role Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with a strong sense of accuracy and precision. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding a high volume of products, formulations, and raw materials into our system. The primary focus is ensuring that substances provided by customers are accurately entered and matched within our database.

Responsibilities

• Matching substances from customer-provided lists to our central database or between internal substance lists. Some matches may require evaluation based on specific criteria.
• Verifying and categorizing documentation provided by customers.
• Ensuring data accuracy, including checking that percentage values sum correctly to 100%.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in data entry or a related administrative role.
• Basic understanding of chemistry (e.g., familiarity with chemical substances, formulations, or ingredients).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to match substances from customer-provided lists to internal databases based on specific criteria.
• Proficiency in verifying and categorizing documentation related to compliance and product formulations.
• Strong numerical skills, ensuring that percentage values sum correctly to 100%.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume data environment.
• Proficiency with data management systems and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
