The Software Engineering group is focused on creating and maintaining financial applications and database systems as well as building the back-end support that allows our systems to run effectively. As part of the team, you will work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that FactSet's products and technologies are responsive to the changing needs of the investment community.

Our Software Engineers work on many different kinds of projects, including but not limited to: Database design, data feed acquisition and deployment, GUI application development, System infrastructure development, Web application development. A Software Engineer Intern will be responsible for developing internal tools to manage workflows and projects. They will be an important part of a team working on the technology that is changing the way engineers work.

Requirements:

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with any of the following: 1) Web design and development using HTML, Javascript, and CSS, VueJS or similar frameworks 2) Application development using Python, C#, Perl, Bootstrap, Basic Linux Scripting, Slick Grid/TIF 3) Back end development using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Internship enrollment form this semester
  • Can start this March or April 2025
