As part of the client model, the Design Engineer is responsible for the design and production of construction plans, technical calculations, reports, and permit documentation for client’s multi-family development projects that occur in Georgia, Florida, and the Southeast.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and production of construction plans and permit submittal documents
- Perform research for project due diligence and prepare summary reports
- Develop conceptual site and grading plans
- Assist in the design and perform hydrologic analyses of stormwater management facilities
- Develop site grading plans and earthwork calculations
- Develop erosion and sedimentation control plans
- Develop utility plans, including water and sanitary sewer design
- Develop tree management/landscaping plans
- Coordinate with agency/municipality staff, other engineers/consultants, architects, project team, contractor, and ownership
- Perform other duties as directed by Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and/or Director of Engineering.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of Engineering Team and Company practices which align with our mission statement
- Strong desire to learn with an interest in civil engineering site design/land development
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently with little direction as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining key deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, and ability to work independentl
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or related field
- Atleast 7 years of work experience related to Survey Technician.
- Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Hydraflow/ICPR (or equivalent)
- WaterCAD
- Microsoft Office
- Bluebeam
- An understanding of CAD surfaces and layers, survey points, pen tables, etc. is preferred.
- Understanding of site grading, storm drainage, erosion and sediment control, stormwater, and utility design principles is preferred.
- Experience working with US based client is a must.
