The Marketing Officer is responsible for stimulating general awareness of Netbanks’ solutions and supporting the client acquisition teams as they run campaigns to identify new clients.

Website

  • Propose changes to the Netbank Website to make it simpler to navigate, so that Netbank’s products are explained clearly, to promote client engagement in the site.
  • Implement changes, via Wix and Wordpress.
  • Understand the technical options and integrations to use the functionality of Hubspot and Wix or other tools as well.
  • Maintain and update Netbank’s websites and advice pages.

Support customer facing teams to understand their market and competitive environment.

  • Understand GTM for the competition
  • Define and summarize our positioning with regard the competition
  • Support solution managers to articulate our competitive position

Support marketing campaigns

  • Support client acquisition teams to plan campaigns and develop the needed materials.
  • Ensure campaigns have lists of targets, create landing pages, strong e-mail communications.
  • Set-up marketing automation to follow-up clients
  • Set-up tracking system and analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Become the expert in using Hubspot, to help client acquisition team members use the tool well

Support client acquisition teams to develop marketing material

  • Advise teams in developing videos, press releases, sales documentation, etc. and creation of the marketing collaterals.

Develop a marketing calendar

  • Develop a centralized marketing calendar covering press releases, campaigns, one-off events, etc.
  • Gain management approval for these campaigns

Coordinate Social Media Campaigns

  • Understand the social media preferences of target partners
  • Define the tools Mobile Banking products will use to acquire and communicate with clients
  • Implement social media campaigns (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

Coordinate Press Releases

  • Create a timetable for press releases, targeting one release every 1-2 weeks
  • Ensure the identified Solution Owner prepares the press release (or write it using Chat GPT)
  • Assess press releases for quality
  • Manage the release to journalists. Work with journalists to increase take-up.

Coordinate specific marketing events, such as one-off seminars, competitions, etc.

  • Identify opportunities to promote Netbank’s capabilities through seminars, interviews, webinars, etc.
  • Manage the interview process, release the events to interested parties (e-mail)
  • Engage with conferences to get Netbank experts to be included in public marketing events

Support events

  • Identify events that Netbank should attend
  • Determine which events are priority, for attendance or sponsorship
  • Negotiation with the event managers
  • Prepare material and run the presence in the event
  • Evaluate the events.
