  • The Technical Assistant is responsible in providing 24/7 service monitoring support for Sun Life's production systems and first level support for batch processing. He or she will be key in providing prompt escalations, while working with infra and application teams, arising from issues that will impact system availability. The ideal candidate is a fast learner that should demonstrate keen attention to detail, competitive troubleshooting and problem solving abilities, as well as communication and interpersonal skills. es

  • Provide first-level support to batch monitoring and incident resolution
  • Facilitate efficient and accurate incident management process based on Sun Life guidelines
  • Handle daily backup monitoring and tape management inside the data center
  • Ensures timely printing of system generated reports
  • Be proactive in batch automation initiatives and be able to identify opportunities for continouous improvement
