DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain bookkeeping for multiple companies using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
  • Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Accounting: Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, such as prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and payroll accruals.
  • Journal Entries: Record adjusting journal entries as needed, documenting your work in electronic format.
  • Time: Track and report time spent by customers.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statement workbooks.
  • Deadlines: Turn in work on time to meet required deadlines.
  • Technology Use: Leverage and manage cloud-based platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Ramp, and Gusto, etc, to enhance financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a US accounting firm
  • Proficiency with cloud-based accounting tools (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Access to a quiet place to work with reliable, high-speed internet
  • Strong ownership mindset: able to manage tasks independently, take accountability, and ensure timely completion.
