Responsibilities
- Responsible in doing the pre-sales support to Sales Unit, conduct technical sales and technical evaluation of customer requirement.
- Entry Level position. Performs under maximum guidance the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, development and managing of implementation strategies that would gain competitive advantage by providing timely and accurate solutions, and opportunity pipelines with reference to PLDT mainstream, wireless products, and applicable ICT/Digital solutions for customer.
- Acts as resource technical person for the assigned Sales units in determining the technical requirements of corporate customers and PLDT S&As with the aim of providing applicable mainstream, wireless, and IST/Digital solutions.
- Provides technical pre-sales support and strengthen accountability to assigned sales unit in the generation of sales opportunities focusing on the technical requirements of the customer.
- Provides technical feasibility studies and costing of project proposals under opportunity stage in coming up with customized solutions or product variants that would address customer requirements.
- Continuously updates corporate customers’ technical profile/account map to proactively assess and forecast potential business opportunity, service upgrades and product upsell.
- Conducts technical evaluation of customer terminal equipment (i.e. PABX, KTS, etc.) and its appurtenances prior to offering to customer to ensure compatibility, efficiency and effectiveness relative to customer’s requirements.
- Attends MRSB and justify various technical options to be able to provide the most cost effective and most feasible technical solution.
- Attends trainings and seminars on new technologies and products to keep abreast of technology developments.
- Conducts technical sales presentation and seminars to corporate customers on various PLDT products and services and influence technical contacts in their evaluation of solutions.
- Provide telecom consultancy to corporate customer to identify technical solution on specific technical requirement or on potential critical issues that might affect their network.
- Proactively supports and complements business development teams in the integration of business processes, guidelines and technologies to come up with new products and services customized to address specific market demands.
- Establishes relationship with Corporate Customer’s Technical SPOC and conduct market investigation, opportunity research and update customer’s technical profile.
- Gathers information on existing services subscribed (PLDT vs competitors) by the customer, their network ideals, plans and projections which will lead to the development of an attack strategy that will put PLDT on a win-win position.
- Works collaboratively with PLDT’s Product Managers, RMs and Engineering group in the delivery of product offering to clients and technology solutions with emphasis on immediately available facilities and possible expansion to help in the fast and timely deployment of services to corporate customers.
- Analyzes the capabilities of applications already on the customer environment; conduct research and develop ICT solutions with considerations to scalability, reliability, availability, & security and provide technology roadmap.
