The Project Manager will oversee the construction of the food commissary kitchen, managing all phases of the project lifecycle from planning to completion. The Project Manager will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and local government units (LGUs) to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and handover of the food manufacturing plant (commissary kitchen) construction project, ensuring it adheres to Philippine laws, ordinances, and safety standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with building codes, the National Building Code of the Philippines, and local environmental regulations.
  • Establish and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the project is completed within agreed timelines and budget constraints.oordinate with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and other relevant local regulatory agencies for permits, approvals, and inspections.
  • Lead site inspections to ensure safety and quality control are maintained, particularly in compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or equivalent certification recognized in the Philippines.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in food manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with the National Building Code of the Philippines, local construction regulations, environmental compliance (DENR standards), and food industry safety protocols.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPMP (Certified Project Manager Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or local equivalents used in the construction industry.
